After seeing Escape from Tatooine short film and reading some of the reviews on that same page, I couldn't help but write the following...

Movies like Star Wars or Planet of the Apes, are simply a feast of imagination and NOT based on any fundamental - reality based truth. It takes a true human (a being using the full potential of his mind)to create an art piece taken from life without using any artificial special effects. Imagine films shot in real life and all the special effects are not created neither in post-production and not in pre-production but during the shoot. There is almost no director who can do that.
