Renat's Naked Thoughts

Here Renat posts his naked thoughts. Once in a while he is bombarded with a train of thought that if not recorded may be gone forever. It seems kind of idiotic to record the thoughts as they come, in their pure virgin state, but he thinks that in perspective, these records may lead to important understandings of one's inner workings.

At 2pm I left the house to pay the rent for my friend Dima, since he's left to St. Petersburg to find a wife for himself, but that's a diffent story altogether. I met many people today.

At around 8pm I met Hyder at 100 washington square east, room 808 to attend a conference about Palestine. In the beginning of this gathering there was a professor by the name Steve Bronner who is comimg out with a book called Blood on the sand. He warmly agreed for a recorded discussion that which must take place within next two weeks, since he's going to be traveling to the middle east. My question to him was who were the two people who initiated the conflict in Palestine, he claimed that David Ben-Gurion started the Zionist movement and emerged the new name for Palestine - Israel. We will discuss this and many other topics related to improving the quality of human life when we meet this coming Sunday April 10, 2005.

It was around 11pm as Hyder and I were approaching the Union Square park. We touched the very subject which brought us together, Hyder and I, when we met about 6 months ago or so at the very Union Square park. That subject was the Messiah documentary film which Hyder proposed we shoot when we met. He said that I am not ready to undertake this project, since I am not patient with my questions toward the people conversing with me. As we were walking towards Union Square we met Kiddo (an african American men) who overheard my statement to Hyder that the one who has to be patient is a patient, just like in a hospital, in other words he or she is sick, that is why needs to be patient. Kiddo introduced us to his friends who were playing middle eastern drums, sitting on the cold stone of the Union Square park oval stair-like stoop. They were; Carmine (carmine.com) and Carl. Carmine didn't like my headphones placed on my head instead of on the neck, when not listenin to them. There were a lot of break dancers, and imagine one girl by the name Ariel approached and joined them by performing belly dancing. I learned later that she's from Nashwille Tennessee but also lived in California. She' a professional belly dancer, and even went to Egypt twice for her passion in belly dancing. Carmine performs every sunday at Figaro café in Greenwich Village, somewhere around Mc Dougal street and Bleecker. Carmine is a very talented drum player who also owns his own co!mpany which produces web sites. He plays the drums purely for fun, and said that he is interested in being in the Messiah fim which Hyder and I undertaking.
